ARK Survival Ascended Admin Commands & Cheats — Full List (PC, PS5 & Xbox) 2026

Short answer: open the console, type EnableCheats <your admin password> (skip this in single-player), then run any command below with the cheat prefix — for example cheat god, cheat fly, cheat GMSummon "Rex_Character_BP_C" 150 or cheat GFI element 100 0 0. Everything works the same on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

This is the full working list for ARK: Survival Ascended as of 2026, with the syntax that has changed since Survival Evolved. If you're after the commands that make the game run smoother rather than cheats, that's a separate guide: console commands for better FPS.

How to enable cheats in ARK Ascended

  • Single-player: cheats are already enabled. Just prefix commands with cheat.
  • Your own server / a friend's: you need the server's admin password. Type EnableCheats <password> once per session, then use cheat <command>. admincheat works as a prefix too — they're the same thing.
  • Official servers and most community servers (including ours): you can't. Admin commands only work for whoever holds the admin password. More on that at the bottom.

How to open the console

  • PC: press Tab. Press it again to enlarge the box.
  • Xbox Series X|S: turn on Console Access in Options → Advanced, then in-game press LB + RB + X + Y together.
  • PS5: enable Console Access the same way, then press L1 + R1 + Square + Triangle together.

Player cheats

Command What it does
cheat god God mode — no damage. Run again to turn off. Doesn't stop drowning or starving; use with infinitestats.
cheat infinitestats Infinite health, stamina, food, water, oxygen and weight.
cheat fly / cheat walk Fly, and land again.
cheat ghost Noclip — walk through terrain and structures. cheat walk to exit.
cheat gcm God Creative Mode — the ASA all-in-one: god, fly, infinite stats and instant crafting in one command. Run again to switch off.
cheat leavemealone God + infinitestats + enemy invisible in one go.
cheat enemyinvisible true Wild creatures ignore you. false to revert.
cheat addexperience 10000 0 0 Gives you XP. Change the first number.
cheat giveengrams Unlocks every engram.
cheat givecolors 50 Gives 50 of every dye.
cheat setplayerpos 0 0 0 Teleport to X Y Z coordinates.
cheat tpcoords 50 50 0 Teleport by latitude, longitude, altitude — the numbers on your map. Easier than setplayerpos.
cheat teleporttoplayer <playerID> Jump to another player. Get IDs with cheat listplayers.

Spawn commands — dinos

Two commands, one important difference:

  • cheat summon "<Class>" — spawns a wild creature.
  • cheat GMSummon "<Class>" <level> — spawns it already tamed at the level you give.

GMSummon level tip: ASA adds the taming bonus on top of the number you type. Want a level 150 tame? Enter roughly 100 (150 ÷ 1.5). Enter 150 and you'll get ~225.

The class name is the creature's blueprint name ending in _C and it must be in quotes. Aberrant, Tek and R- variants have their own names (Rex_Character_BP_Aberrant_C, BionicRex_Character_BP_C), and DLC creatures are only spawnable on maps that include them.

If a spawn command does nothing, the class name is wrong. ASA renamed or added a lot of creatures versus Survival Evolved, so an old ASE spawn list will fail silently. Check a current ASA creature ID list.

Give item commands

GFI is the one to learn — it takes a short name instead of a full blueprint path:

  • cheat GFI element 100 0 0 — 100 Element
  • cheat GFI MetalIngot 500 0 0 — 500 Metal Ingots
  • cheat GFI Narcotic 100 0 0 — 100 Narcotics
  • cheat GFI longneck 1 0 0 — a Longneck Rifle, normal quality
  • cheat GFI longneck 1 10 1 — a blueprint for a high-quality Longneck (quality 10, blueprint = 1)
  • cheat GFI RexSaddle 1 0 0 — a Rex saddle

Quality runs from 0 (primitive) up; anything past ~20 is ascendant-tier. GFI matches on a partial name, so if it gives the wrong item, be more specific (MetalIngot rather than Metal).

Taming and world commands

Command What it does
cheat forcetame Instantly tames the creature you're looking at — even untameable ones.
cheat dotame Tames the creature you're looking at only if it's a tameable species and knocked out. Keeps it "legit".
cheat destroywilddinos Wipes every wild creature so the map respawns fresh. Useful after changing spawn settings.
cheat settimeofday 12:00 Sets the time.
cheat slomo 1 Game speed. slomo 5 for fast-forward, slomo 1 to reset.
cheat kill Kills whatever you're looking at.
cheat destroyall <Class> Removes every creature of that class on the map.
cheat saveworld Forces a save.
cheat listplayers Shows connected players and their IDs.
cheat serverchat Hello Broadcasts a message to everyone.

Do admin commands work on a server like BG Gaming?

Not for players, no — and that's on purpose. On the BG Gaming cluster (and any properly run community server) admin commands are locked behind the server password, so nobody can spawn a level 225 Giga into your PvE game or GFI themselves a hundred Element. Progress is earned.

What we do have instead: coins you earn just by playing, a shop for high-level dinos, gear and bulk resources, daily and weekly quests, and community boss fights with loaner dinos for newer players. FAQ

Do cheats work on Xbox and PS5? Yes — in single-player, or on a server where you hold the admin password. Enable Console Access in Options → Advanced first, then use the button combos above.

Do cheats disable achievements? Yes. Using any cheat command in single-player turns off achievements for that save.

Why does GMSummon or summon do nothing? The class name is wrong for ASA, it isn't quoted, or the creature isn't available on your current map. Copy a class name from a 2026 ASA list, not a Survival Evolved one.

How do I turn god mode off? Run cheat god again — it's a toggle. Same for fly, ghost and gcm.

What's the difference between cheat and admincheat? None — either prefix works on a server once you've run EnableCheats.
