The BG Gaming Welcome Centres are public crafting hubs that the admin team builds on most maps in the cluster. The idea is simple: when you join a new map — whether it’s your first day on BG Gaming or you’ve just transferred over from another map — you shouldn’t have to spend two hours grinding stone and thatch to make a single Smithy.
Each Welcome Centre is stocked with public-access crafting stations covering the full early-game tech tree — Smithy, Fabricator, Mortar & Pestle, Refining Forge, Industrial Forge, Chemistry Bench, and more. You can use them freely, no permissions needed, no tribe membership required.

The Island
Located in the central plains region of The Island — close to the major early-game biomes and reachable from most starter beaches.
How to find it
If you’re on foot, head for either of the two road entry points and follow the path in. If you’re flying, drop straight onto the Welcome Centre coordinates.
