When is the ARK ASA Birthday Event 2026 running?

The ARK: Survival Ascended Birthday Event 2026 runs from Tuesday 2 June 2026 through Tuesday 16 June 2026 — a 14-day window to grab event-only colours, skins, and creature variants before they're gone for another year. The event is already live on the BG Gaming cluster as of today.

Party creatures (Birthday variants)

Wild dinos can spawn as colourful "Party" variants during the event window. Confirmed Party variants:

Party Dodo — the icon of the event
Party Rex
Party Saber
Party Pego
Party Ankylo

Party variants are tameable just like any wild dino — same methods, same effectiveness. They drop the same loot, but their unique colours stay even after taming, so if you want a Party Rex in your stable, hunt one this week.

Cosmetics & skins

The event adds a full set of birthday-themed skins, all of which you can craft or earn from event drops:

Birthday Suit Shirt Skin (chestpiece)
Birthday Suit Pants Skin (leggings)
Party Hat Skin (headgear)
Dino Party Hat Skin (for your tames)
Torch Sparkler Skin (transforms torches into sparklers)

These are skins, not stat items — they don't expire after the event ends. Once you have them in your inventory they're yours for good.

Anniversary Cakes

The headline consumable. The ARK Anniversary Surprise Cake can be cooked at a Cooking Pot during the event and split into Cake Slices with various effects:

Taming Cake Slice — boosts taming speed when fed during an active tame
Breeding Cake Slice — boosts mating speed
Imprint Cake Slice — improves baby imprint quality
EXP Cake Slice — bonus experience burst
Harvesting Cake Slice — boosts your next harvesting session

Stockpile cakes now — they keep working after the event ends as long as they're in your inventory.

Exclusive event colours

Seven dino colours unlock during the event and become available on wild Party variants AND through breeding mutations. Some are rare and won't reappear until next year's anniversary:

No — Party variants only spawn during the event window. If you want one, get it before 16 June.
