When is Genesis Part 2 out on ARK: Survival Ascended?
It is not dated. As of 21 September 2026, Studio Wildcard has not announced a release date for Genesis Part 2 on ARK: Survival Ascended. The most recent official word is that it arrives in 2027 as part of Bob's True Tales: Galaxy Wars, and third-party roadmap trackers place it in Q2 2027. No price, no trailer, no footage. If any site is showing you a specific day, it made it up.

So the map has been promised twice and dated zero times. For context, Wildcard's average slip across the nine major ASA releases so far is about two and a half months, with the worst case (Genesis Part 1) at seventeen months. What Genesis Part 2 is
Genesis Part 2 released for ARK: Survival Evolved on 3 June 2021. It is set aboard the enormous two-ringed Genesis Ship, with a final biome, Rockwell's Proliferation, fused with the insides of Sir Edmund Rockwell, and Rockwell Prime as the final boss. It shipped with ten new creatures: Astrodelphis, Carniflora, Exo-Mek, Macrophage, Maewing, Noglin, Shadowmane, Summoner, Tek Stryder and Voidwyrm, plus nineteen "R-" variants of existing creatures and the Federation Tek suit.
The ASA version is a full rebuild in Unreal Engine 5, the same treatment Genesis Part 1 got in July 2026. The official wiki notes the ASA release "will come with a community-voted creature and a paid creature from Bob's True Tales", which matches the pattern of every ASA map so far.
What Galaxy Wars adds
Galaxy Wars is the paid Bob's True Tales story pack paired with the free Genesis Part 2 map, the same relationship Tides of Fortune has with Genesis Part 1. What has been reported: a space biome, starfighters, capital ships and planetoids, building on the naval systems Tides of Fortune introduced. Treat all of that as reported, not confirmed; Wildcard has not published a feature list.
Expect the map itself to be free and Galaxy Wars to be paid, because that is how Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction and Genesis Part 1 were all handled. Nothing official says so yet.
Genesis Part 2 creatures you can tame today
You do not have to wait for the map to play with its roster. Two of its headline creatures are already on ARK: Survival Ascended through mods, and both are on the BG Gaming cluster:
- Shadowmane via the Shadowmane ASEP mod: stealth, teleport, the lot.
- Maewing, near enough, via Astraeos's Maeguana variant.
