BG Gaming Discord Bot Commands — Every / Command on Our ARK Ascended Cluster (2026)

Short answer: in the BG Gaming Discord, type / in any channel and the bot's commands pop up. The ones you'll use most are /linkossid (25,000-coin sign-up bonus), /balance, /transfer, /vote (1,750 coins), /market and /sales for the dino marketplace, and /kickme if your character is stuck. This page lists every command and what it does.

How to use a slash command

1. Open the BG Gaming Discord (join here if you haven't yet).
2. In any text channel, type / and start typing the command name — Discord filters the list as you type.
3. Pick the command, fill in any boxes it asks for, press Enter.
4. Most replies are only visible to you (Discord's "ephemeral" messages), so nobody sees your balance or your sales but you.

Everything below works on PC, Xbox and PlayStation — it's Discord, not the game, so the platform you play on doesn't matter.

Getting started: link your character

Command	What it does
/linkossid <character name>	Links your ARK character to your Discord account and pays a 25,000-coin registration bonus. You must be logged into the cluster on that character when you run it, and the name has to match exactly. Linking is what unlocks everything else — login rewards, marketplace, quest bonuses.
/asa	Opens the ASA Support Panel: raise a ticket, report a bug, get help from staff.

Coins

Command	What it does
/balance	Shows your shop coin balance without logging into the game.
/transfer	Sends coins from your balance to another player. Works even if they're offline — the bot writes straight to their wallet.
/vote	Vote for BG Gaming on the server lists and claim 1,750 coins per vote. If a vote didn't register, raise a ticket with /asa and staff can credit it.

Coins are earned automatically just by playing (login rewards, playtime, quests) and spent in the in-game shop on dinos, gear and bulk resources.

Dino marketplace

The marketplace is a player-to-player dino market with escrow — the bot holds the buyer's coins until the dino is handed over, so nobody gets scammed. Most of it runs on buttons in the marketplace channel (Sell, Wanted, My Listings, My Deals, My Trader Profile); these are the slash-command shortcuts.

Command	What it does
/market <species>	Starts a new listing for the species you type (autocomplete searches as you type). Walks you through level, price, photos and the vault where the buyer collects it.
/sales mine	Your complete sales history: every dino you've sold, when, for how much and who bought it, plus which species you sell most. Only you can see it.
/sales trending	What the whole marketplace has bought in the last 30 days — species, how many sold, average price per dino and how many are listed right now. Handy for spotting what's in demand and worth breeding. Shows species only, never player names.

A public Top Traders board is pinned in the reviews channel and updates after every completed sale.

Fixing a stuck character

Command	What it does
/kickme	Kicks your own character off the server. Use it when the game crashed and it says you're still logged in, or your character is stuck and won't load.
/closeticket	Closes a support ticket you raised that got stuck open, so you can raise a new one.

Staff commands

You'll see these in the / list but they only work for admins — they're here so you know what they are if you spot one being used.

Command	What it does
/poll	Creates a private community poll — everyone sees the vote count, only staff see the breakdown. Votes and comments are anonymous.
/welcome	Posts the new-player welcome messages into cluster chat.
/mute, /unmute, /mutes	Cluster-chat mutes (default 48 hours) and the list of who's currently muted.
/vote-recovery	Credits the 1,750-coin vote reward to someone whose vote didn't register.
/clear-boss	Clears a stuck boss-arena lock after an admin-killed boss.
/destroygyros	Removes every Gyrosphere on Ragnarok (a known lag source).
/startraffle, /endraffle	Runs a button-entry raffle for a prize.
/voteraffle, /endvoteraffle	Runs a longer vote raffle with dino prizes that pay out automatically.
/economy, /peak	Shop economy stats and cluster peak-time stats.
/updateleaderboard	Regenerates the net-worth leaderboard image.
/promo, /promopics, /promoauto, /adstats	Advertising tools — promo packs for each site we post on and the ad-campaign funnel.
/tebex-process-now, /tebex-migration-notice	Housekeeping for the old Tebex store during the move to our own shop.

FAQ

The command doesn't show up when I type /. Make sure you're in the BG Gaming server, not a DM, and that you're typing in a text channel. If a command is missing for everyone, the bot is probably restarting — try again in a minute.

/linkossid says it can't find my character. You need to be logged into the cluster on that character at the time, and the name must match exactly, including capitals and spaces. Still stuck? Raise a ticket with /asa.

Can other people see my /balance or /sales? No. Those replies are ephemeral — only you see them, and they disappear when you dismiss them.

I voted but didn't get coins. Votes sometimes take a few minutes to sync from the listing site. If it's been longer, raise a ticket — staff have a /vote-recovery command that queues the credit for you.

Do I need to be online in game for /transfer? No — neither of you does. The bot writes to the wallet directly.
